Delta Air Lines has quietly doubled the size of its Philadelphia Sky Club, offering a much-needed upgrade for travelers passing through the airport. While the new space is still modest compared to Delta's flagship lounges, it now provides a more comfortable and spacious environment for passengers. The expansion includes a new room with additional seating, television screens, and working spaces, as well as cosmetic and functional upgrades throughout. The buffet zone has been revamped to accommodate a larger food preparation area, and the beverage station now features a new espresso machine. The five bathrooms have also received a noticeable makeover. Delta's vice president of Sky Clubs and lounge experience, Claude Roussel, stated that the new space offers more seats, a more intuitive layout, and regionally inspired art, bringing the city's character into the lounge experience. The Philadelphia Sky Club is open from 4:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Sundays through Fridays, and from 4:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Saturdays. This upgrade comes as Delta plans to build its first lounge in Las Vegas and expand two Florida outposts, in Tampa and Jacksonville. However, passengers flying on a Main Basic (basic economy) fare are now barred from accessing Delta's lounges.
